Inter Club relay race

The Hereward Relay is a 38.4 mile relay race between Peterborough and Ely in teams of 4 runners

1st leg – 6.5 miles
2nd leg – 10 miles*
3rd leg – 11 miles*
4th leg – 10 miles*

*the last 3 legs are part XC

It is a fun, local event which we have historically done quite well in. We normally  put in a couple of teams to go for the titles and balance the rest of the teams for some inter club banter and rivalry!

Prizes
There are prizes for the 1st 3 Teams and 1st 2 Ladies Teams. Individual prizes to 1st Man and 1st Vet Man, 1st Lady and 1st Vet Lady in each stage. There are mementos for all finishers.

Refreshments
Hot Food, teas and coffee at Welney and Ely. Water stops at change-over points. Parking and toilets at all change-over points.
