The club cake ride

A date for your diary, the famous, and the most enjoyable, social ride of the year is the annual Cake Ride.

From Bottisham Village College to Barbara’s lovely home and garden in Steeple Bumpstead. We will probably have four groups doing varying distance and speeds. Bring some change to pay a donation towards the food (a couple of pounds would be nice).

There is usually an early start for a ride of around 80/100 miles

Fast group. 35/40 miles 18/19/20 mph

Medium group. 30/35 miles about 17 mph

Steady group. 25ish miles about 15 mph

To Barbara’s house in Steeple Bumpstead with about 20 miles on the way back
